SHADY ACRES – A HOUSTON, TEXAS COMMUNITY
In the early 20’s, an investment company bought one-hundred acres to develop and subdivide the area from Ella Boulevard and 610-North to Durham and West 15th Street. They dubbed the area as “Shady Acres.”
