The area of Deer Park sits on the borders of Houston, Sugar Land, and Baytown. It is also near Pasadena and La Porte. It is a historic area that has been around since 1892 by founder Simeon H. West, a farmer, retired legislator, and much-traveled adventurer from Illinois. It is named for large amounts of deer that roam the area.

Students attend Deer Park ISD and some area also zone to La Porte ISD. Deer Park has 4 junior high schools, Deer Park Junior High, Bonnette Junior High, Fairmont Junior High and Deepwater Junior High. There are 7 elementary schools that serve the area as well. For higher education, San Jacinto College is nearby as well. It’s the perfect location for hardworking, refinery shift workers too.

With a variety of types of homes from traditional to historical, Deer Park is ready to welcome you home.
